Biography

Kristen is in charge of the Risk and Compliance section for Andersen in Botswana, operating out of the firm's Francistown office.

Her critical roles include safeguarding the firm's reputation, promoting proactive risk management frameworks, and expertly navigating ever-changing regulatory landscapes. In essence, Kristen bridges the vital gap between technical compliance and practical operational implementation, ensuring our organization's enduring and ethical success.

Before joining Andersen in Botswana, Kristen built a robust operational foundation in the mining sector. She initially worked as a project and assets administrator for the IT department of a major mining company, before being promoted to Ellipse Systems Administrator at a different mine. Following the closure of the mines, she further honed her financial and organizational skills as a bookkeeper and office manager for an electrical company.
